Now, women in valuation will have access to education, certification, and connection. We’ll never teach you how to appraise, you already know how to do that. We teach the business end of our craft that lies beyond loan origination, i.e. narrative report writing for complex problem solving; nuanced engagement letter writing, how to charge based on scope of work development, and how to confidently stand behind your opinion, to earn the assignments that turn your job into a career.
And then…we certify it all through Valuation Verified™, a credential earned on your actual work product, reviewed independently. This certification also places it’s members in a directory that leads to the attorneys, agents, and firms who have been looking for them.

And now the ground is shifting. You’re being asked to adapt quickly, while clients are already saying they won’t pay higher fees for more work because “tech advancements will shrink your time.” But technology doesn’t eliminate due diligence, and doing good work still takes time.
So rather than wait for someone else to figure out what comes next, we built The Valuation Collective. Valuation Verified ™ is a certification that shows an appraiser’s work meets a real, published standard, paired with a directory designed to connect Valuation Verified appraisers with the attorneys, agents, and clients looking for someone they can trust.

The Valuation Collective was founded by Emily Braman, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS and Megan Johnson Judd, SRA, AI-RRS. They bring decades of work in the appraisal profession, national speaking experience, a three-generation appraisal lineage, and a 10,000-member professional community. The Valuation Collective brings those experiences together with a shared belief that women in valuation can learn from one another.
